•  Expertise in treating post-partum depression, change-of-life issues (divorce, grief & loss, serious illness, pregnancy & parenting), helping teens and young adults and LGBT issues. 
• I have helped and continue to help a broad spectrum of people heal from emotional wounds and find more peace and satisfaction in their lives.  I really enjoy working with students who are in college, as this is an exciting (yet also stressful) time to learn about oneself. 

My approach:

I believe in the mind-body-spirit connection.  I can teach you mindfulness practices that help you cultivate more peace in your life.  I  will work with you to help you build on your strengths, to identify and achieve life goals.  In my counseling practice, based on what clients present with, I often use these therapies: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), Guided Imagery, Cognitive / Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused therapy methods. 

I believe people seeking help already have the inherent ability to “be ok” deep down, and I can help you tap into your inner peace.  I can teach you skills to help you improve your mood, choose healthier ways to cope with stress and deepen your sense of satisfaction with life.
